Remember me? The same one who gave you all the grub on whatever goes behind those sacred closed doors of our SEM temple... Resultrix.... thats right... it is a temple... these morons worship online marketing like nobody's business. Anyhow.. so now do u remember me?

sorry about the vanishing act but u see... it was all work and work and work that kept me away from delivering any news to you... btw.. I do have some interesting stuff to share with you all...

like.. over the past few months.. Resultrix became a Google Certified Company... like... we have been nominated for the coveted 'Hottest Startup of the year' by TATA NEN... like we have been busy catching some big fish... and like.. we have some new members on board too... so you see, a lot has been happening... and while I would normally have dedicated a post each to all these... curently time doesn't permit me to do that... so i guess, you should be pretty satiated with these quick updates about the action.

but hey.. we've been having a lot of fun too.. after all... how can we not party with so much happening... so we had a couple of b'day parties and other little celebrations.. and then we had a little ragging session for the new kids on the block... this was a sting operation actually.. so we have a video that you can view here...

but wait for me to upload it.. i am slightly technologically challenged in life.. so it will take me a while to figure out what exactly i need to do with it...

Happy Birthday to Shibu!

Friends... Roamin's...CountryWine... oh I mean.. countrymen...

Well.. we had the first birthday bash at Resultrix yesterday!

Quite an extended celebration I tell ya.. it started with a cake which was slaughtered and half eaten, half smeared on Shibu... here's what we did to him... and what he did in turn...

the kid received, amongst other things like bumps and kicks, a card... tailor made (or copywriter-made perhaps) for shibu... here's a dekko...

the gang then hit 'Out of the Blue', this chic lounge at carter road, and then finally landed with bags-full of booze of every kind at the Bandra residence of a certain lean gentelman...

the party went on till wee hours and the time of this post can well explain that work occured late to all the hung-over heads... but hey.. it was worth it.. good fun!!

Big News!

Hiya all you beauties...

After all I said about my little 'khabri' in the last post, I guess I gotta chew those words hard...
Now this one tells me a piece of inside info... apparently, a new kid on the block has self-poached himself from one of the arch-rivals we have and has parked himself under the secure wings of the founder. From the look of it, the kid seems in awe of the latter and is pretty pleased with his decision.

From what I have heard, he's a techie and a pretty good one at that... cracks codes and algoriths like nobody's business... atta boy... I sure am intimidated.. Maths and such was never my forte you see..

anyhow.. let's hope this young lad brings days as bright as his infectious smile! Way to go dude!

Oh by the way, his name is currently withheld for security reasons :P

I'm back

Hey people...

The heat in the capital got to me... really.. I'm back for good! There's enough here to turn the heat on though. My reliable khabri in Resultrix told me that a lot of action took place behind my back. Late nights turned into booze parties and the founder n co-founders crashed in at the office itself without bothering for a change or humane conditions to sleep in.

The air conditioning has finally started functioning and the fans have taken it easy - so have rising mental temperatures i would say.

Well, now that I'm here, I will furnish you with first hand information... without relying on my reliable khabri... he's a man after all... you know... limited observation n all...

'Rest' is History!!

Phew!!! Gone are the days when they worked from 9 to 6 - perhaps 7 or at worst 9. The former blue-eyed boys, or men if you must, of their respective bosses are now busy working like dogs. (Yeah I know I can avoid the similie, its much the same even otherwise... but... ahm..)

So as I was saying that all these pampered spirits do now is work, day in day out... speaking from the point of view of the person who serves dinner at 2.30 in the morning or opens the door for them at 3.00 am perhaps, I guess... rest is history.. not just for them... but for the people around them too.. it does take two to tango!

Here's wishing them some shut-eye... and mouth too (really)!

Here's sharing a little moment of glory...
Our very first employee completes a month in our employment today. Moreover, he's the only on who's seen us at our worst - without an office that is. And before the make-shift office had a chair and table, this efficient techie worked on a park bench under the shade of a tree. Given that, that is hard to find in Mumbai, you can imagine the rough days he must have seen for the sake of being a part of Resultrix. Well, it pays I guess, as he's the first one to get a pay-cheque also :D

Great going Tanveer, keep up the good work... and change that old track for God's sake! One of these days Santosh will be found eating ur hard-disk to keep you away from those songs.

Anyhow, hope you got the hint... hehehe.. Waht! You didnt? Oh well, I guess I didnt make it obvious enough! What say peoplez!

When the saints come marchin...

Things have been quite at Resultrix for the past few days... but its the lull before the storm I suppose. As a certain tall gentalman went to and fro the capital, things came to a slower pace. But then came the long weekend which drew to a close only with a working Sunday as the entire team came back to ground zero and the Resultrix office was once again abuzz with activity.

And what better way to get back then have the much-famous graph all ready to rock n roll. Oh yes, our genius tech guys finally scratched down to their grey cells and extracted the solution out! Trust me, the grey matter saved a lot of people from turning black n blue!

All's well... that ... at least pretends... to end well...

Life ij a hard...

It's 3 in the morning and the efficient nocturnal creatures at Resultrix are banging, oops, putting their heads together to create a graph for a tech-application... its no wizardry but something is amiss.. and the head banging continues...

To speak in the words of some linguistically-gifted people, ''phatti pari thi''

And while the sleep-deprived team still tries its best to decipher the 'Graph' which was all-elusive till the wee hours, pillows are called in for the sake of a certain gentleman who was Delhi-bound on an early morning flight...



..and the very sight of pillows brings smiles to some faces... but instead of propping these tired heads, they were simply used as props for this pic... and then driven out of sight while the nocturnal adventures continued...
whatever happened to power naps!

And then there were none...

What an absolute delight it is to see that apart from the usual camaraderie from all corners of the industry, there were certain miscreants who tried to spoil the show... what a filthy thing envy is... imagine our wonder when we found a loathsome scribble on the fresh-painted walls of our home page... nasty nasty thing now that was... but no hard feelings... really... in fact, this one set us thinking that someone is already hot under the collar.. by Jove.. I love it!
And so, another good thing followed.. one bad-mouthed visitor... and comment moderation runs full-on... and then... all's hunky dory and we're...

Ah! the good old days before 1875... what a wonderful way of re-living the past when one had to use candles and lamps to illuminate the dark... those were the days!

Before you term me demented or presume that I'm suffering from a Jodha-Akbar hang-over, let me make things clear... I'm simply talking about the yet under-work electric connections at the new Resultrix office. Imagine the plight of the team that went all out to get the most stylish lamp shades and focus lights, only to be told by the electrician that the wiring may take another day... so much for seeking the light!

Until the path is illuminated then...

All world's a stage...

The stage is set, the props in place, the artiste in waiting... for the drama to unfold. Oh, the audience doesn't as yet have a clue of this arrangement so the omission was deliberate.. if you noticed at all.

But here comes the announcement and enter the protagonist, receiving a standing ovation from the addressed crowd. A testimony of the claim is right here... http://www.resultrix.com/ go on.. turn green!

To cut a long Act short, the much hushed news is out. Gulrez Alam exits Communicate2 to enter a stage for a higher Act and start his own venture, Resultrix Media Pvt (Un)limited... and it's now time for the real action to begin... the company's make shift office at the founder's residence has finally shifted to a modest but cosy office space in Mahim, which was undergoing necessary changes over the past week, and though it may sound quite mundane, the buzz of activity wasn't in the least routine. While taxis were hailed for the tables and computers, the regal throne of the founder found solace in using the humble Santro for it's transportation - with much struggle though. The distance from Bandra to Mahim could never have been more cumbersome! So while the day saw us grinning at the first look of the company website, by the end of day, all those faces were covered in dust and fatigue with the 'moving' experience.
So much for an eyewitness account! Anyhow, these people don't intend to pay me for this babble so I guess I can call it day too!
